Midcontinent Communications will be upgrading cable channels from analog to digital delivery over the coming months. These channels are still offered with your current level of service, you will just need a Digital Receiver in order to view them.  The channel upgrades are unrelated to the government-mandated DTV Transition scheduled for February 17, 2009. What is the 2009 Digital Transition?

 On February 17, 2009, all over-the-air television broadcasting stations will transition to digital broadcasting as required by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Congress. This is called the 2009 DTV Transition.
